Dan Kaiser, MD & Clay Kaiser, MD - Founders

Medical doctors, engineers, brothers and Founders. The brothers have been working on methods and systems to optimize cardiac preload for almost a decade— long before the industry introduced ‘novel’ concepts such as left atrial shunting (Corvia device, purchased by Edwards Life Sciences at a valuation >100 million in 2019) or superior vena cava occlusion (preCARDIA, purchased by Abiomed for $115.5 million in 2021). Both were Biomedical engineers at Duke, got their MD at Vanderbilt, and finished their cardiovascular training at Stanford (Dan is a cardiologist; Clay is a cardiovascular surgeon).
