Marat Fudim, MD - Research Partner

Marat is a heart failure cardiologist at the Duke University Medical Center who previously completed his medical residency at Vanderbilt. Marat currently serves as the Medical Director for the Heart Failure Research Unit and Heart Failure Remote Monitoring. He was awarded the 2021 Douglas Zipes Distinguished Young Investigator Award for his research in heart failure volume regulation and pre-load control. He is broadly funded to investigate the impact of preload reduction on the management of heart failure and have been closely involved in the space of device-based heart failure management.
