Margaret joined the CardioFlow team shortly after finishing her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. During her graduate studies, she worked directly with surgeons and clinicians on developing a variety of new surgical robots and medical devices for diagnosing and treating lung cancer, which gave her an appreciation for the clinical challenges of creating these systems. Margaret will lead the engineering effort designing and developing the CardioFlow system.
